Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Consumer Health Data.
This notice is required by the consumer health data laws of Washington, Nevada, and Connecticut and applies to everyone who uses Still Health, wherever you live. It describes the physical-activity information the app handles. Our general Privacy Policy covers everything else.
01What we collect and why
Still Health collects motion-derived activity figures: stillness time, interruptions (movement bouts), step count, distance, pace, and the times at which a tracking session starts and ends, together with the streaks, personal records, and trophies calculated from them. These figures are computed on your device from its motion sensors. Your session totals are stored on our servers for two purposes only: to show your own history, records, and trophies across your devices, and — if you add friends or join a team — to display standings and Weekly Honors to the people you have chosen to connect with. We do not use this information for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to infer anything about your health, and we make no medical or health claims about it.
02Where it comes from
From your device's motion sensors, with your permission, processed by the app on the device. Nothing is imported from Apple Health, from other apps, or from third parties.
03What we share, and with whom
We share your session totals — stillness time, interruptions, steps, distance, and pace — with the friends and team members you connect with, inside the app, because that is how standings work. To store and deliver the service we use one service provider, Google LLC (Google Firebase), which processes the data on our behalf in the United States under terms that restrict its use to providing those services. Apple Inc. delivers push notifications — so the text of a notification you receive, such as an award announcement, passes through Apple's servers — and processes sign-in and purchases; Apple does not otherwise receive your activity figures from us. We share consumer health data with no other third parties and with no affiliates, and we do not sell it.
04Your rights and how to exercise them
- Withdraw consent. Turn off the Motion & Fitness permission for Still Health in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness. Tracking stops. Leave a team or remove a friend in the app to stop sharing your totals with them.
- Delete. Delete your account in the app (Setup → Account → Delete Account); your activity history, standings, and every other record are permanently removed from our servers, and we ask our service provider to do the same on its normal schedule. You may also request deletion by email.
- Access and know. Your figures are visible to you in the app at all times; email us for a copy or for a list of the third parties described above.
- Appeal. If we decline a request, reply to our response and we will review it again within 45 days.
Send requests to support@stillhealthapp.com from the email address on your account, or write to Still Health LLC, [MAILING ADDRESS — STREET, CITY, CA ZIP]. We respond within 45 days and do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.
